Cybersecurity and networking specialist Exclusive Networks is consolidating its AWS activities under a new global framework and has established a dedicated business unit for its cloud operations, to be led by a new hire from Amazon Web Services.
Global cybersecurity and networking go-to-market specialist Exclusive Networks has announced an expansion of its worldwide AWS capabilities, according to the company. The move is intended to open up new business opportunities for vendors and partners at the intersection of cloud transformation and cybersecurity within the AWS ecosystem, the company said.
According to Exclusive Networks, the initiative responds to the increasing convergence of cloud technologies and cybersecurity. Partners, the company said, are increasingly expected to support customers in designing, migrating and securely operating modern cloud environments. For the channel, this shift represents a growing need for combined cloud and security expertise that goes beyond traditional reseller structures, according to the company’s assessment. To address this, Exclusive Networks is consolidating its AWS capabilities, marketplace services and professional services under a single, unified global framework.
By connecting AWS, security independent software vendors (ISVs) and specialized partners within the AWS ecosystem, Exclusive Networks aims to strengthen its role as an ecosystem aggregator for secure cloud adoption through the channel. According to the company, the approach is designed to simplify go-to-market efforts, expand technical enablement support and help vendors grow their market presence through Exclusive Networks’ global partner network. For partners, the company said, this should simplify access to preconfigured cloud security solutions and technical support across the AWS portfolio.
The new framework includes the establishment of a Global AWS Services Practice, supported by a Cloud Center of Excellence and a central Migration and Security Hub. According to Exclusive Networks, these resources are intended to help partners build resilient, business-oriented cloud architectures on AWS and support customers in developing a sustainable security strategy. The company did not disclose specific revenue or partner figures related to the initiative in its announcement.
For the European channel, and the DACH region in particular, combining cloud and security expertise under one roof is relevant because resellers and system integrators are increasingly required to address both areas together, supporting customers with regulatory requirements such as NIS2 and with building resilient cloud infrastructure. The announcement does not specify whether or how regional partners will directly benefit from the global framework.
Jesper Trolle, CEO of Exclusive Networks, is quoted in the announcement as saying that cloud and cybersecurity are increasingly converging into a shared strategic agenda for partners, vendors and end customers. He said the company’s task is to bring together the relevant ecosystem players — AWS, leading cybersecurity vendors and its specialized partner network — to enable secure cloud growth at scale.
New Global AWS Business Unit
To support this global expansion, Exclusive Networks has also established a Global AWS Business Unit. The unit will be led by Haroon Iqbal, who is joining Exclusive Networks from Amazon Web Services. According to the company, Iqbal brings extensive experience in building partner ecosystems and in AWS channel go-to-market strategy. In his new role, he is expected to drive the expansion of global capabilities and strengthen the international execution of the AWS strategy.
