Iron Mountain strengthens its leadership in Northern Europe as Volken Rosendahl takes charge of strategic business development across key markets.
Iron Mountain announced the appointment of Volken Rosendahl as Vice President Northern Europe. He will lead strategic business development for the DACH region, Benelux, Poland, Scandinavia and the Baltic states.
“Organizations in the DACH region, Benelux, Poland, Scandinavia and the Baltics are under increasing pressure to modernise while maintaining trust, security and compliance,” said Iwona Sikora, Senior Vice President & General Manager EMEA at Iron Mountain. She highlighted growing demand for secure information‑management and digital services that enable firms to fully exploit their data.
Rosendahl brings extensive expertise in cloud, transformation and enterprise technology. He worked at Microsoft in Munich for 21 years, followed by leadership roles at Adobe and Oracle. “Iron Mountain has earned a high level of trust in information management. Building on that foundation offers a significant opportunity to help organisations manage growing complexity securely,” he explained. He added that the aim is to provide solutions that support transformation, resilience and long‑term growth.
In his role, Rosendahl will expand Iron Mountain’s position as a trusted partner for digital transformation, compliance and information management. The company serves more than 240,000 customers in 61 countries, including roughly 95 % of the Fortune 1000, offering services from traditional archiving to digital data management, data‑center services, asset‑life‑cycle management and secure destruction.
The appointment is intended to reinforce Iron Mountain’s regional presence and advance its focus on secure, privacy‑compliant solutions.
