ADN Distribution GmbH has integrated the TP-Link Omada business networking platform into its distribution portfolio, targeting growing demand for centrally managed, cloud-capable network infrastructure in the mid-market.
ADN Distribution GmbH, a value-added distributor (VAD) specialising in cloud services, cyber security, and modern IT infrastructure with more than 7,000 partners across the DACH region, has added TP-Link’s Omada business networking platform to its distribution portfolio. The partnership combines TP-Link’s technical reach with ADN’s established enablement model and is aimed at system integrators, resellers, and managed service providers (MSPs) seeking to implement standardised network projects more efficiently and scale them as recurring service offerings.
Technical Architecture of the Omada Platform
TP-Link Omada consolidates access points, switches, gateways, and controllers into an integrated software-defined networking (SDN) platform managed through a single central interface. The solution can be operated either cloud-based or on-premises – a characteristic that is particularly relevant in regulated environments or for customers with specific data residency requirements. Features such as Zero-Touch Provisioning simplify multi-site rollouts and significantly reduce manual configuration overhead. WiFi 6 and WiFi 7-capable components ensure reliable connectivity even at high user densities. ADN identifies typical deployment scenarios in education, hospitality, retail, and conventional SME environments – segments in which system integrators and MSPs require standardisable network architectures.
Strategic Positioning in the Channel
The background to the partnership is a sustained demand for managed network infrastructure in the mid-market that can be centrally controlled and scaled. For channel partners, the Omada platform provides the basis for operating network projects not as one-time transactions but as continuous service offerings. Centralised management of distributed sites, flexible scalability, and transparent operating models support partners in deploying network infrastructure efficiently, maintaining it on an ongoing basis, and developing it commercially.
Hermann Ramacher, Managing Director of ADN Distribution GmbH, contextualises the portfolio addition: “TP-Link Omada is a strategic component for us to offer our partners in the networking space a high-performance and at the same time commercially attractive platform. Together with our expert teams, partners can quickly integrate the solution into existing business models and immediately build and scale their own managed service offerings.”
Jens Walter, Vice President Enterprise at TP-Link Germany, emphasises the mutual intent to strengthen B2B business: “For the further expansion of our B2B business in Germany, ADN is an important, strategic component. Together we combine Omada as a scalable business networking platform with ADN’s technical, sales-oriented, and partner-focused enablement expertise. This provides system integrators and MSPs with a clear foundation not only to deliver modern network projects but to develop repeatable managed service models from them.”
Enablement Structure and Partner Support
A central element of the collaboration is structured partner support from ADN. Around Partner Sales Manager Thorsten Tellinghusen, the VAD has assembled a team of trained technical and sales specialists who actively accompany system integrators and MSPs through customer projects – from architecture development through project delivery to the construction of sustainable managed service models. The objective is not solely to convey technical knowledge but to directly support partners in translating technology projects into scalable service offerings.
The ADN Tech Cloud Academy complements this with training courses, workshops, and certification preparation. The combination of technical consulting, training resources, and personal presales support is intended to facilitate entry into Omada-based operational and service concepts. The company explicitly positions this offering as part of a growing portfolio oriented towards recurring business models in the channel.
ADN Distribution GmbH was founded in 1994, is owner-managed, and focuses on distributing cloud services, cyber security, data centre infrastructure, unified communications, and AI technologies. In September 2025, the company received ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. TP-Link is a globally operating company headquartered in Irvine, California, and addresses the business networking market with its Omada line.
