In the second quarter of 2026, the IT trade recorded a significant increase in interest in servers via the ITscope platform. Click numbers for the Top 100 products in this category were around 50 percent higher than in the previous year’s quarter. Order volume also rose noticeably.

The data from the ITscope Market Barometer for the second quarter of 2026 reveal shifts in demand behavior within the IT channel. The development in the server segment is particularly notable. Click numbers for the most-clicked 100 server products rose by approximately 50 percent compared to the previous year’s quarter. At the same time, order volume more than doubled. The median dealer purchase price for the Top 100 servers increased from around 3,000 euros to over 6,000 euros. This indicates growing interest in more powerful systems.

Alongside servers, the categories of SSDs and memory components also exceeded the previous year’s quarter level. The market barometer brochure lists the most-clicked products in these and other areas. Key categories include notebooks, complete PC systems, graphics cards, processors, mobile phones, and tablets.

In the server category, HPE ProLiant Gen11 models dominate. The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 Network Choice led the ranking. In SSDs, the Samsung 990 PRO series remained in high demand, particularly the 2 TB version. In memory components, a Crucial DDR5 module (16 GB) took the top spot.

In notebooks, the Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 recorded the highest click count. In complete PC systems, the HP Pro 400 G9 Mini led – as in the previous quarter. In graphics cards, the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING OC was in first place. Among processors, the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X ranked highest.

In the mobile phone segment, Apple models dominated: the iPhone 16e led, followed by the iPhone 17e. In tablets, the Apple iPad A16 Wi-Fi took first place.

In addition to the established ranking, the market barometer presents the “Highflyers” – newly listed products since January 2026 that performed particularly strongly in their category based on clicks per day. The Apple iPhone 17e topped this list.

The results are based on click and order data from the ITscope platform and provide an overview of current priorities in the channel. They show that infrastructure components such as servers, storage, and SSDs are currently receiving increased attention.

The Q2/2026 Market Barometer offers retailers and manufacturers guidance in assessing current trends. The full brochure with all rankings is available for download.
