ADN Distribution GmbH is expanding its cooperation with Pyramid Computer GmbH. According to ADN, resellers gain access to server, storage, AI and turnkey solutions developed and manufactured in Germany.

Value-added distributor ADN Distribution GmbH is extending its cooperation with Pyramid Computer GmbH and adding to its infrastructure portfolio as a result. Partners will be able to source additional server, storage, AI and turnkey solutions that Pyramid develops and manufactures in Germany. ADN cites demand for high-performance infrastructure as the reason: artificial intelligence, growing data volumes and hybrid cloud architectures are raising the requirements for server and storage environments.

Platforms for Hybrid Cloud, Edge and AI

Under the expanded cooperation, ADN partners have access to flexibly configurable infrastructure platforms for different deployment scenarios. According to ADN, these include certified Azure Local appliances for hybrid cloud scenarios and edge architectures, as well as Local AI appliances for AI workloads. Scalable object storage solutions are also part of the offering. Build-to-order systems, which can be tailored to individual customer projects, complete the range.

Pyramid is headquartered in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, where it develops server, storage and AI infrastructure, from platforms for classic data center applications to individually configured systems for data-intensive workloads. According to the company, manufacturing takes place at sites in Ettlingen, Ichtershausen and Witzenhausen. Pyramid describes itself as a European vendor and names digital sovereignty and compliance as guiding principles. Its systems are meant to give companies more control over their data and reduce dependence on technologies from global providers.

“With Pyramid, we gain a partner that combines technological sovereignty, high manufacturing quality and reliability,” says Thorsten à Tellinghusen, Business Unit Lead Hybrid Cloud and AI Solutions at ADN. For resellers, he says, this results in an infrastructure offering from Germany that meets the requirements of hybrid cloud, storage and AI projects.

Consulting, Enablement and Turnkey Appliances

Alongside access to the platforms, ADN points to technical support for partners. The distributor says it accompanies infrastructure projects from consulting and solution design through configuration to implementation, and helps integrate the systems into existing customer environments. The enablement program also includes training courses and workshops in which partners can build skills in infrastructure, hybrid cloud and AI.

Turnkey appliances are a focus area. Instead of installing and testing complex systems themselves, partners can use preconfigured, complete solutions that are matched to the respective software environment.

Binding Prices at Order Receipt

Resellers are also meant to gain more planning certainty on costs: ADN and Pyramid commit to binding prices as soon as an order is received. This is intended to limit the risks of fluctuating hardware prices. Ralf Steinemann, Sales Director at Pyramid Computer GmbH, points to market conditions. Prices and delivery times are hard to plan, he says, so resellers need reliable conditions. Pyramid offers server hardware and turnkey appliances as well as binding prices at order receipt and support directly from Freiburg.
