At it-sa 2026 in Nuremberg, ADN Distribution GmbH is addressing the interplay of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and compliance. The focus is on a talk by Ingo Lingenberg on October 27, aimed at Microsoft partners, resellers and system integrators.
In many companies, artificial intelligence is moving from pilot project to everyday work. According to ADN, solutions such as Microsoft 365 Copilot open up additional business opportunities for Microsoft partners in consulting, licensing and managed services. At the same time, the distributor says, requirements for security, compliance and governance rise as soon as AI applications access company data. According to this view, companies that want to use AI over the long term must master both innovation and risk management.
Data, identities and governance as the foundation
Ingo Lingenberg, Focus Sales Microsoft Security & Modern Workplace at ADN, addresses this tension. His talk is titled “How companies can use AI without losing sight of cyber risks and compliance.” Lingenberg argues that data, identities, governance and security form the basis for AI initiatives, and explains what role Microsoft technologies play in this.
Practical examples are meant to show how companies can use AI productively while meeting security and compliance requirements. ADN expects competitiveness, cyber resilience and AI governance to become more closely linked. The announcement does not specify which examples will be presented.
A perspective for the channel
The talk is aimed at Microsoft partners, resellers and system integrators. They are to receive ideas for expanding their business around Copilot, security and the modern workplace. Afterwards, they can discuss current challenges and market opportunities directly with ADN’s experts.
Heiko Lossau, Head of Business Unit Microsoft & Cloud Marketplace at ADN, places the topic in a channel context. For many companies, Copilot is the entry point to AI transformation, he says. Sustainable business success only emerges when innovation, security and compliance are considered together. Competitiveness and cyber resilience are “increasingly two sides of the same coin.” This is where partners could expand their role as strategic advisors and develop long-term customer relationships and new services from AI.

The talk takes place on October 27, 2026, from 9:50 to 10:20 a.m. at ADN’s booth 8-424 in Hall 8. In addition, ADN is represented on October 28, 2026, from 2:30 to 2:45 p.m. at the official it-sa Knowledge Forum in Forum E, Hall 9.
At booths 8-316 and 8-424, the company says it will present further talks, expert sessions and live demonstrations together with Microsoft and other technology partners. The focus areas are secure AI, cyber resilience, security operations, AI governance and managed services. Visitors are meant to gain practical insight, ADN says, into how Microsoft technologies can be turned into new services, customer projects and additional revenue potential. ADN points to its long experience in the Microsoft ecosystem and wants to contribute it to the discussion on the secure and economical use of AI. The additional Knowledge Forum slot is scheduled for considerably less time; the announcement gives no details on its content.
