Cybersecurity provider Semperis has appointed Michael Scheffler as Area Vice President Sales for the DACH region effective September 14, 2026. Scheffler is tasked with expanding the partner network and supporting managed service providers and system integrators in strengthening their customers’ cyber resilience. The DACH region ranks among the company’s strongest markets in EMEA.
Hoboken, USA, and Hamburg – Semperis, a provider of identity-based cyber resilience and crisis response solutions, has appointed Michael Scheffler as Area Vice President Sales DACH. The appointment took effect on September 14, 2026. Scheffler assumes responsibility for further developing sales and the partner network in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Semperis focuses on protecting hybrid identity infrastructures, particularly Active Directory, Entra ID, and comparable systems. Headquartered in Hoboken, New Jersey, the company offers technologies and services designed to help organizations detect identity-related attacks, respond to them, and restore affected systems. According to the company, the DACH region is one of its strongest markets within EMEA. Scheffler’s role is to build on this position and prepare sales structures for further expansion.
Michael Scheffler brings more than 26 years of professional experience, primarily in data security and cybersecurity. Most recently, he served as Vice President Sales at Link11, a provider of cloud-based security solutions focused on DDoS protection and web application security. Previously, he held leadership positions at Proofpoint, A10 Networks, Bitglass (now part of Forcepoint), and Varonis. These roles involved experience selling solutions for email security, network security, cloud access security, and data security.
In his new position, Scheffler will be supported by Jörg Pulfer, who recently joined Semperis as Partner Director Central EMEA and will assist in expanding partner relationships in the region.

The appointment forms part of Semperis’ ongoing strengthening of its EMEA organization. Identity-based attacks continue to be regarded in the industry as one of the primary entry points for cyberattacks, particularly in connection with ransomware and the growing use of automated attack tools.

Its portfolio includes tools for detecting and responding to threats in hybrid identity environments as well as solutions for post-attack recovery.
