Dropbox launches three new apps in ChatGPT: file access, Dash knowledge, and Reclaim AI Calendar. Seamless, secure integration for modern teams – no more tool switching.
In a working world where teams constantly switch between dozens of tools, Dropbox is stepping in with a solution: Three new apps integrate files, enterprise-wide knowledge, and calendars directly into ChatGPT. Users receive more precise answers, complete tasks without interruption, and retain full control over their permissions.
Many teams today work with a multitude of isolated applications – this leads to time-consuming context gathering and laborious compilation of results. Dropbox, long established as the central platform for millions of users and hundreds of thousands of teams, is now solving this problem with a direct integration into ChatGPT. Instead of manually uploading files or jumping between windows, the relevant context is immediately available within the AI conversations.
The new Dropbox App in ChatGPT enables direct access to stored files, including previews. AI-generated content can be saved to Dropbox with a single click and links can be shared – all without leaving ChatGPT. ChatGPT itself can access files already stored in Dropbox to create drafts or answer questions. Existing sharing permissions and access controls from Dropbox remain fully intact.
The Dropbox Dash App in ChatGPT goes even further. Dash already aggregates content from more than 30 workplace apps in one central, secure location. Once integrated into ChatGPT, the app delivers personalized, context-based answers drawn from the entire body of enterprise knowledge. Users get more helpful, relevant, and actionable results without leaving the chat – and with full respect for all permissions.
The third app, the Reclaim AI Calendar App in ChatGPT, simplifies the entire scheduling process. Instead of lengthy back-and-forth coordination, users can add appointments directly to Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, find suitable meeting times, resolve scheduling conflicts, analyze their productivity, search for contacts, or get a quick overview of their daily schedule – all within the ongoing ChatGPT conversation.
The Dropbox App is available worldwide to all Dropbox customers regardless of plan tier. The Dash App will roll out to existing customers in the coming weeks; new users can try it with a free 30-day trial. The Reclaim AI Calendar App is available worldwide in English for users of the latest Reclaim version.
Further information and direct downloads of the apps are available in the ChatGPT App Directory and in the Dropbox Help Center.
