Dell Technologies has updated its Partner Program to better support its resellers. The changes are primarily designed to support business in high-growth, high-potential areas such as AI, including new or increased incentives and rebates. In addition, smart tools and features will make day-to-day business easier and improve the partner experience.
The proven structure of the program, with all its benefits, remains in place, providing partners with a simple and reliable framework for working with Dell Technologies. Partners can count on a transparent engagement model and are rewarded for building expertise through training and certification, as well as ongoing engagement. With new or increased incentives and rebates, they can grow their business even faster. These new features include – Enhanced Growth Incentives: Titanium partners will receive a new 2 percent growth incentive in the Storage+ product category for meeting quarterly targets. This is in addition to the recently announced 1.5 percent growth incentive for Titanium partners who meet their quarterly client targets. This is one of the largest investments Dell Technologies has ever made in its partners‘ client business. – New AI PCs: Dell Technologies‘ newly unveiled AI PC portfolio enables partners to capitalize on the upcoming PC refresh cycle. The client growth incentive, combined with expanded eligibility for the base discount in the Client+ product category and the inclusion of consumer products for this discount, will help partners create compelling offerings and grow profitably. – Additional New Business Discount: Compete Select offers an additional 4 percent rebate to Gold, Platinum and Titanium level partners who generate new business in storage, data protection or the Client+ product category with large accounts. New business opportunities in AI, recovery services and sustainability Artificial Intelligence (AI) is also a key to sustainable growth for partners. That’s why Dell Technologies is building AI into all of its solutions to make them smarter, and helping businesses manage demanding AI workloads with its products and services. The Dell AI Factory offers a broad portfolio of solutions to help partners build and operate AI-enabled infrastructures. Dell Technologies is helping partners grow their business with AI and other high-growth solutions with the following partner program innovations: – AI Networking Multiplier: AI requires a powerful IT infrastructure that includes not only servers and storage, but also networking. The Dell PowerSwitch Z Series now offers a triple multiplier to help you reach the base incentive faster. – Updated training: Data Science & AI competency training has been updated to better familiarize partners with the full range of Dell AI Factory solutions and how to best position them. – Accelerator for Storage-Related Services: Dell Asset Recovery Services continues to support the secure and environmentally responsible retirement of legacy IT systems, including helping partners plan for customer PC replacement cycles. The triple accelerator for storage-related services remains in place to help partners achieve their revenue goals in the program. – Greater efficiency and sustainability: New tools and resources help partners become more efficient and sustainable. These include an energy efficiency calculator, product carbon footprint information, an RFP tool and on-demand training. In addition, the Sustainability Competency, launched last year, has been revised to prepare partners for in-depth customer discussions on energy efficiency. Streamlining Processes and Enhancing the Partner Experience Based on partner feedback, Dell Technologies is continually working to improve tools, policies and processes. The following innovations will make it even easier to work with Dell Technologies in the future: – Consistent focus on the “Partner First” strategy in the storage sector: The new Compete Select builds on Dell Technologies‘ “Partner First” strategy, which aims to support 99 percent of existing and potential customers via the channel, particularly in the storage sector. Partner First promotes collaboration between Dell Technologies‘ sales teams and the channel and helps partners to tap into new revenue streams. Since its launch, the number of accounts for partners with “Partner of Record” status has increased fivefold. – Smart collaboration: New intelligent features that analyze past customer activity, Partner of Record status and acquired skills help Dell Technologies better assess partner capabilities and identify suitable partners for joint projects. – Faster quoting: Attractive pricing for pre-configured storage, server and client bundles help partners create quotes faster and reduce time-to-market. – New Incentive Simulator: In the coming weeks, Dell Technologies will launch an incentive simulator that partners can use to calculate their expected incentives. This will give them a better overview of the potential of business opportunities and enable them to make better decisions. “The success of our partners is central to Dell Technologies. That’s why we continue to invest in the channel and continuously optimize our partner program,” emphasizes Robert Laurim, Vice President & General Manager Channel Dell Technologies DACH. “With the updates and innovations we are now presenting, we are not only making working with Dell Technologies even easier and more attractive, but also showing partners new ways to achieve more growth.” |
