ADN Distribution takes on nationwide distribution of Plotdesk – a GDPR-compliant AI platform from North Rhine-Westphalia that enables mid-sized businesses to deploy productive Artificial Intelligence without any programming knowledge.

German IT distributor ADN Distribution GmbH is expanding its AI ecosystem: effective immediately, the Bochum-based company distributes Plotdesk, an AI platform developed in North Rhine-Westphalia that positions itself as an “AI operating system” for Germany’s Mittelstand. The solution combines more than 50 AI models, can be deployed within days without programming skills, and runs exclusively on servers located in Germany – a clear message to companies that have so far avoided AI for compliance reasons.

For many mid-sized companies, the path from AI pilot project to productive business application proves longer than expected. Missing data connectors, complex interfaces, and hard-to-demonstrate return on investment leave countless test scenarios going nowhere. This is precisely the gap that the partnership between IT distributor ADN and North Rhine-Westphalian software company Plotdesk aims to address.

ADN Distribution GmbH, headquartered in Bochum and partnering with more than 7,000 resellers, system houses, and managed service providers across the DACH region, now takes on the distribution of the Plotdesk AI platform in Germany. The decision underscores ADN’s strategic direction: the distributor aims not only to supply cloud or security solutions, but to accompany the entire AI transformation journey – from the initial consultation to scaled deployment.

Plotdesk positions itself as an AI operating system for the Mittelstand. The platform aggregates more than 50 language models – including GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini – behind a unified, intuitive interface and connects seamlessly to over 100 common business and ERP systems such as SharePoint, SAP, and Salesforce. This is designed to make routine tasks such as drafting emails, preparing quotes, or summarizing research significantly faster – all without writing a single line of code.

„Many companies have gathered initial AI experience by now – but hardly anyone has managed to generate real value from it. Plotdesk closes exactly that gap. With Plotdesk we offer our partners a turnkey solution that immediately delivers practical use cases while meeting the highest compliance requirements.“

— Hermann Ramacher, Managing Director, ADN Distribution GmbH

What makes the offering particularly attractive in the German market is its uncompromising focus on data sovereignty. Plotdesk runs exclusively on servers in Germany and meets all GDPR requirements, positioning the platform as a trustworthy “Made in Germany” alternative to international AI services such as Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini Enterprise – a decisive advantage for companies that have hesitated for regulatory reasons.

Real-world suitability is already proven: companies such as confectionery brand Ritter Sport, the Melitta coffee and household goods group, connector technology specialist Böllhoff, and industrial services provider KAEFER all use Plotdesk in production. This reference list signals to channel partners that this is not an early-stage beta, but a proven product.

„We are delighted to have ADN as a business partner who understands the German-speaking channel and shares our vision: AI must be fast, secure, and usable by every employee – not just experts. ADN enables us to reach Germany’s Mittelstand even more effectively and to create measurable results together with partners.“

— Niklas Coors, Founder and Managing Director, Plotdesk

ADN actively supports its channel partners on the journey from classic reseller to AI consultant. The program includes training, enablement measures, and go-to-market support – an offering of growing strategic relevance given the rising demand for AI expertise in the reseller community.

The cooperation is emblematic of a broader trend: the Mittelstand is looking for AI solutions that are quick to implement, demonstrably compliant, and usable without deep technical expertise. Whether Plotdesk and ADN can deliver on this promise at scale will become clear in the months ahead – but the initial reference customers provide a compelling argument.
