Argos Security has appointed Xenia Sausele as Head of Partner Ecosystem. The experienced channel manager is tasked with systematically building and scaling the partner network of the cybersecurity company, founded in March 2026, across the DACH market.
Argos Security, the Managed Security Service Provider formed in March 2026 through the merger of cybersecurity firms indevis and Data-Sec, is restructuring its partner business both organizationally and in terms of personnel. Since May 2026, Xenia Sausele, a seasoned channel expert, has taken on the newly created role of Head of Partner Ecosystem. Her mandate: to build and systematically scale a collaborative partner network across the German-speaking region.
The company, with offices in Munich and Freiburg, employs more than 100 cybersecurity professionals and serves clients in the upper mid-market, enterprise segment, and public sector. Its services include a German 24/7 Security Operations Center, Managed Detection & Response, specialized incident response teams, and security strategy consulting. The company’s philosophy is based on a holistic cyber defense approach that treats prevention, detection, response, and the strengthening of cyber resilience as equally important components. The company holds ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
Partner Business as an Independent Growth Pillar
At the center of the new partner structure is the Argos Partner Cyber Defense Center. Through this platform, resellers, system integrators, and service providers gain access to a broad portfolio of cybersecurity services – including SOC as a Service, Managed Detection & Response, as well as forensic support and established workflows for critical security incidents. Partners are intended to be able to accompany their customers throughout the entire security lifecycle without having to build comparable in-house resources.
The model deliberately relies on modular service components and structured enablement measures. Argos Security aims to complement rather than replace existing partner business models. In the area of Operational Technology Security, the company also offers partner organizations the opportunity to expand their portfolio and support clients in securing critical infrastructure and industrial systems.
“Expanding the partner ecosystem is a decisive component of our growth strategy. With Xenia Sausele, we are gaining a proven expert in modern channel business and strategic alliances,” says Frank Pütz, Managing Director of Argos Security. Dr. Nils Kaufmann, Chief Sales Officer, adds that the increasing complexity of the cybersecurity market presents many organizations with significant challenges when building their own competencies. Together with partners, the company aims to create a high-performance ecosystem that consolidates expertise to comprehensively protect enterprise clients.
Profile of the New Executive
Xenia Sausele brings extensive experience in building and scaling partner programs in international technology, cloud, and SaaS environments. Her career includes positions at HP, PlusServer, and IONOS Cloud, where she developed regional channel structures, built partner programs, and implemented go-to-market strategies. She has also completed programs such as “Building Digital Partnerships and Ecosystems” at the business school INSEAD.
Sausele is also involved in initiatives promoting greater visibility and equal opportunity for women in the technology industry, including the former #IamRemarkable program from Google. She has been recognized as “IT Woman of the Year” in the categories of Digital Transformation and Technical Innovation.
“What particularly attracts me is the opportunity to build a new, scalable partner ecosystem at Argos Security while also further developing existing partner structures,” says Sausele. “We are deliberately focusing on collaboration at eye level and on strengthening the service portfolio of our partners without displacing existing business models.”
Market Context: Growing Demand for Outsourced Cybersecurity
The decision to structurally and organizationally anchor the partner business fits into a broader market trend. Many mid-sized companies and public institutions are increasingly outsourcing cybersecurity functions to specialized service providers, as building in-house capacity is both resource-intensive and expensive. Managed Security Service Providers that simultaneously act as enablers for other service providers can achieve a multiplier effect in this environment.
Argos Security positions itself in this landscape as a Trusted Advisor: the company sees its role not solely as a technological complement, but as a strategic partner in the transformation toward high-performance security service models. Whether the partner model delivers the hoped-for scaling effects remains to be seen in the coming months – the foundation for it has been laid with Sausele’s appointment.
