One Identity has appointed Marianne Van Der Pluym as its new EMEA Channels and Alliances Director. The experienced manager with extensive expertise in identity and access management will drive the partner strategy in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Tracey Mead was simultaneously appointed for North America.

One Identity is strengthening its regional channel organization with two experienced executives. Marianne Van Der Pluym has taken on the role of EMEA Channels and Alliances Director. At the same time, Tracey Mead has assumed the corresponding position for North America.

Van Der Pluym brings extensive experience in channel and alliances management. Most recently, she served as Global Head of Partnerships at Cryptomathic. Prior to that, she held the position of VP Global MSSP/MSP Strategy and Sales at OpenText Cybersecurity. Over many years, she held various senior sales and partner roles at Micro Focus, including VP Global MSSP Strategy and Sales for CyberRes as well as international alliances positions. Earlier roles include IBM Security in South Africa and positions at NetIQ and Symantec.

The executive has specialized throughout her career in digital identities, channel development, and partner-based sales models. She has also been active as a mentor with Women4Cyber. Her appointment comes at a time when One Identity is positioning itself as an independent company headquartered in Cork, Ireland. This move is intended to increase focus on unified identity governance — a market undergoing significant changes due to developments such as artificial intelligence and non-human identities.

Tracey Mead also has a long history in channel management. She most recently came from Contrast Security and previously held senior positions at OpenText Cybersecurity, Micro Focus, NetIQ, Novell, and CA Technologies. Mead has been recognized multiple times on the CRN “Women of the Channel” list, including the “Power 100” and as a “Channel Chief.”

Van Der Pluym and Mead previously worked together at the beginning of their careers at Micro Focus. Their complementary experience in global alliances, managed services, and partner-centric go-to-market approaches is expected to support the implementation of One Identity’s Partner-First strategy.

Ian Sutherland, Chief Revenue Officer at One Identity, emphasized the growing importance of partners in the deployment of modern identity security solutions. Strong channel leadership is crucial to developing partners from pure resellers toward managed service providers and specialized providers.

Marianne Van Der Pluym stated: “Identity is part of my DNA. One Identity’s commitment to its partners perfectly matches my approach of building a partner ecosystem that solves complex challenges in identity security.” She highlighted that in the EMEA region, specialized partners are growing particularly strongly.

Tracey Mead added that identity management has become central to the overall security strategy of companies. One Identity’s Partner-First culture creates good conditions for joint solutions that help customers address AI-related challenges and improve their security.
