Predictive cyber intelligence provider CloudSEK has appointed Oliver Ott as Regional Sales Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, effective 21 September 2026. The former THALES DIS manager will lead enterprise business development and build a partner and channel ecosystem across the region.
CloudSEK has appointed Oliver Ott as Regional Sales Director for the DACH region. According to the company, the appointment took effect on 21 September 2026. Ott will be responsible for the company’s business development in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with a mandate to expand enterprise customer relationships and build a partner and channel ecosystem.
CloudSEK describes its technology as a platform for predictive attack-path analysis in the age of artificial intelligence. According to the company, its graph-based intelligence connects signals from external attack surfaces – including the growing AI attack surface – identities, brand risk, data leaks, supply chains and threat intelligence sources, in order to identify attack paths and disrupt them before they lead to a breach.
CloudSEK cites the growing complexity of external cyber risk as the background to the appointment. Attackers, the company says, increasingly combine exposed credentials, misconfigured infrastructure, impersonation campaigns, third-party weaknesses and intelligence from the deep and dark web to gain access to organisations. Security teams, it argues, need less a higher volume of alerts than context on which signals connect, which paths are exploitable and where action is required immediately.
Gurdip Singh, VP Sales & Partnerships EMEA & APAC at CloudSEK, is quoted as saying that Germany, Austria and Switzerland are strategically important to the company’s development in Europe, and that CloudSEK intends to expand its presence with enterprises and partners in the region and engage more directly with its specific market requirements. He said Ott brings extensive experience in enterprise cybersecurity and understanding of the DACH market.
Ott worked at THALES DIS in Munich from 2016 to 2024, most recently as Regional Sales Director IAM. According to CloudSEK, in that role he worked with large organisations on the protection of digital identities and critical infrastructure and built strategic customer relationships across the DACH region.
At CloudSEK, Ott is tasked with building direct relationships with strategic customers and security leaders, while also developing a regional ecosystem of resellers, managed security service providers and technology partners. CloudSEK’s Partner Acceleration Programme provides, according to the company, dedicated engagement models for resellers, technology alliances and MSSPs.
Ott is quoted as saying his work in identity and access management has shown him how critical it is to protect digital identities and access paths, and that organisations now need to extend that view to understand what adversaries can already see outside their perimeter and how those signals combine into viable attack paths. His goal, he said, is to build a durable DACH business with customers and partners.
CloudSEK’s portfolio includes XVigil for digital risk protection, BeVigil for attack surface monitoring, SVigil for supply chain monitoring and AIVigil for AI attack surface monitoring, complemented by threat intelligence and AI-based analysis capabilities, according to the company.
Immediate DACH priorities, per CloudSEK, include building structured customer and partner engagement, developing joint routes to market and closer dialogue with CISOs and security leaders. Over the longer term, CloudSEK and Ott aim to position the company as a provider of predictive attack path intelligence, AI attack surface monitoring, external threat intelligence and digital risk protection across the German-speaking market.
