VMware Cross-Cloud Managed Services are designed to accelerate the process of building managed services for partners. They will be easier for customers to use. This improves partner profitability and unlocks new growth potential.
The introduction of multi-cloud helps customers to set up their processes digitally and intelligently. For example, multi-cloud services accelerate the development of modern apps and the cloud transformation of companies. They also make hybrid work environments more secure. However, a study by S&P Global Market Intelligence shows that companies adopting a multi-cloud operating model face various challenges. These include ensuring IT security, availability of skilled staff, cost management and mobility of workloads and data. Eighty-three percent of organizations surveyed are open to external support, such as managed services, in hybrid and multi-cloud (1).
With VMware Cross-Cloud Managed Services, VMware is making it easier for partners to collaborate by combining prescriptive solutions, enhanced incentives, aligned activities around new product launches, and more flexibility. Together, these actions enable VMware Cross-Cloud Managed Services providers to drive growth, improve profitability and increase recurring service revenue. At the same time, they help reduce time to value for multi-cloud environments and bridge the skills shortage on the customer side.
„With our global ecosystem of VMware Cross-Cloud Managed Services Providers, we help our customers use their cloud solutions smarter while achieving faster results,“ said Brigitte Orth, Director Channel Germany at VMware. „VMware Cross-Cloud Managed Services is another example of how we help our partners grow their business and attract new customers.“
