AMD ist einer der großen multinationalen Hersteller von Prozessoren, die bekannt sind für ihre Performance insbesondere in den Bereichen Cloud-, Enterprise- und Hochleistungs-Rechner. Im Server-Segment stieg der Marktanteil von AMD im Verlauf des Jahres 2022 von 10.7 auf 17.6 Prozent. AMD ist gestern dem Amazon Web Services (AWS) Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Program beigetreten, einem Co-Sell-Programm für AWS-Partner – wie AMD – die integrierte Lösungen auf AWS anbieten. Das Programm hilft AWS-Partnern, neue Geschäfte zu machen, indem es die teilnehmenden ISVs direkt mit der AWS-Vertriebsorganisation verbindet. Durch das AWS ISV Accelerate Program erhält AMD gezielten Co-Selling-Support von AWS, einschließlich des Zugriffs auf weitere Vertriebsressourcen, reduzierte AWS Marketplace-Listing-Gebühren und Anreize für AWS-Vertriebsteams. Das Programm ermöglicht den teilnehmenden ISVs auch den Zugang zu Millionen von aktiven AWS-Kunden weltweit. Um das Solutions-Geschäft weiter auszubauen, hat nun auch ALSO einen paneuropäischen Vertrag mit AMD für Server-CPUs geschlossen. Der Technologie-Provider rechnet dadurch mit einer Verdreifachung seines Gesamt-Umsatzes in dieser Produktkategorie bis 2024. In the server segment, AMD’s market share increased from 10.7 to 17.6 percent during 2022. AMD yesterday joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Program, a co-sell program for AWS partners – like AMD – that offer integrated solutions on AWS. The program helps AWS partners win new business by connecting participating ISVs directly to the AWS sales organization. Through the AWS ISV Accelerate Program, AMD receives targeted co-selling support from AWS, including access to additional sales resources, reduced AWS Marketplace listing fees and incentives for AWS sales teams. The program also gives participating ISVs access to millions of active AWS customers worldwide. To further expand its Solutions business, ALSO has now signed a pan-European agreement with AMD for server CPUs. As a result, the technology provider expects to triple its total revenue in this product category by 2024.
