| Matthias Poppel, Chief Sales Marketing Officer Swissbit AG, stellte auf der IT Press Tour in Boston die Strategie seines Unternehmens vor. Das Schweizer Unternehmen verlässt sich schon seit zwei Jahrzehnten in erster Linie auf seine Produktionsstätte in Berlin.
Die Swissbit AG ist ein europäischer Anbieter von Speicherprodukten, Sicherheits- und Embedded-IoT-Lösungen für anspruchsvolle Anwendungen. So ist auch die Nürnberger Messe it-sa für Swissbit ein Eckpunkt. Dort präsentiert der Hersteller die Authentifizierungslösungen der iShield-Key-Familie zum Schutz digitaler Identitäten. Am Stand des Germeringer ITK-Distributors ALLNET in Halle 6, Stand 336, wird Swissbit erstmals auch Details zum neuen FIDO-Sicherheitsschlüssel, dem iShield Key MIFARE, vorstellen. Ebenfalls neu: das Security Upgrade Kit, eine Retrofitlösung zur gezielten Absicherung von Embedded-Systemen im Einklang mit Cybersicherheitsvorschriften und -standards. Die Authentifizierungslösungen von Swissbit umfassen die Produktreihen iShield Key Pro und iShield Key FIDO2. Der iShield Key Pro, verfügbar mit USB-C und USB-A, unterstützt neben FIDO2 weitere Sicherheitsprotokolle wie PIV, HOTP und TOTP. Er kann zudem für physische Zugangskontrollen und Secure Printing genutzt werden, was ihn zu einem der flexibelsten Sicherheitsschlüssel macht. Der iShield Key FIDO2 konzentriert sich auf FIDO2/WebAuthn und U2F und bietet damit einen kostengünstigen Einstieg in die Phishing-resistente Authentifizierung. Alle Hardwaresicherheitsschlüssel werden in Swissbits eigener Halbleiterfertigung am Standort Berlin in Industriequalität produziert und sind für den erweiterten Betriebstemperaturbereich von -25 bis +70 °C ausgelegt. Die iShield-Key-Familie wächst weiter Als kommende Neuheit erweitert Swissbit sein Portfolio in Kürze um den iShield Key MIFARE. Dieser neue Sicherheitsschlüssel kombiniert den FIDO-Standard erstmals mit der NFC-basierten MIFARE-DESFire-EV3-Technologie, was neue Anwendungsbereiche wie Zutrittskontrolle, Zeiterfassung und Bezahlfunktionen ermöglicht. Security Upgrade Kit für Embedded-Systeme Ebenfalls auf der it-sa wird Swissbit mehr Details zum kommenden Security Upgrade Kit präsentieren, das eine flexible und sichere Nachrüstlösung für Embedded-Systeme bietet. Es umfasst eine microSD-Karte in Industriequalität, Software und Tools zur hardwarebasierten Zugriffskontrolle und AES-256-Datenverschlüsselung. Dank anpassbarer Schutzprofile eignet es sich ideal für Anwendungen wie Kopierschutz und den Schutz der Systemintegrität durch Secure Boot. Weitere Details zum Security Upgrade Kit verrät Swissbit am Stand des Cyber-Sicherheitsrats Deutschland e.V. in Halle 7, Stand 307, wo das Unternehmen ebenfalls als Unteraussteller zu finden ist. Swissbit hat außerdem eine Vertriebspartnerschaft mit der MTRIX GmbH, einem der führenden Spezialisten für professionelle Authentifizierungslösungen in der DACH-Region, geschlossen. Im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit erweitert MTRIX ab sofort sein Produktportfolio um die FIDO2-Sicherheitsschlüssel der iShield Key-Produktfamilie von Swissbit. Swissbit’s authentication solutions include the iShield Key Pro and iShield Key FIDO2 product lines. The iShield Key Pro, available in USB-C and USB-A, supports FIDO2 as well as other security protocols such as PIV, HOTP and TOTP. It can also be used for physical access control and secure printing, making it one of the most flexible security keys available. The iShield Key FIDO2 focuses on FIDO2/WebAuthn and U2F, providing a cost-effective entry point to phishing-resistant authentication. All hardware security keys are manufactured in industrial quality in Swissbit’s own semiconductor production facility in Berlin and are designed for the extended operating temperature range of -25 to +70 °C. iShield key family continues to grow Swissbit will soon add the iShield Key MIFARE to its portfolio. This new security key combines the FIDO standard with the NFC-based MIFARE DESFire EV3 technology for the first time, opening up new areas of application such as access control, time recording and payment functions. Security Upgrade Kit for Embedded Systems Also at it-sa, Swissbit will present more details about the upcoming Security Upgrade Kit, which offers a flexible and secure retrofit solution for embedded systems. It includes an industrial-grade microSD card, software and tools for hardware-based access control and AES-256 data encryption. Customizable protection profiles make it ideal for applications such as copy protection and system integrity protection through Secure Boot. Swissbit will provide further details on the Security Upgrade Kit at the booth of the Cyber Security Council Germany e.V. in hall 7, booth 307, where the company is also a sub-exhibitor. Swissbit has also entered into a sales partnership with MTRIX GmbH, one of the leading specialists for professional authentication solutions in the DACH region. As part of the partnership, MTRIX will expand its product portfolio to include the FIDO2 security keys from Swissbit’s iShield Key product family. In addition, MTRIX will be the first distribution partner to include Swissbit’s latest innovation in authentication solutions – the iShield Key MIFARE, which will be launched shortly.
