Following its acquisition by investor Synova, Mannheim-based IT service provider Allgeier IT Services GmbH will operate under the name AVENDIS GmbH in the future.

Allgeier IT Services GmbH will operate under the name AVENDIS GmbH in future. The move follows the takeover of the company by private equity firm Synova and also marks the end of its affiliation with Allgeier SE. With its new brand name, the company will now operate independently on the market.

AVENDIS offers IT services in the areas of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and artificial intelligence. According to its own information, the company serves more than 300 customers from the German SME sector as well as operators of critical national infrastructures. From ten branches nationwide, it supports complex corporate environments with scalable operating structures and an integrated technology platform.

Fragmented market as an opportunity for growth

The German IT services market is considered to be highly fragmented. The growing demand for secure and scalable digital infrastructure opens up opportunities for consolidation, which AVENDIS intends to exploit with the support of Synova. In addition to organic growth, the strategy envisages a buy-and-build approach: geographical expansion, the development of differentiated capabilities, and strategic technology partnerships are on the agenda.

“The launch of our AVENDIS brand is an important step in the development of our company. It gives us a clear and distinctive identity that reflects both the quality of our services and our long-term ambitions,” says Marc Oleschkewitz, CEO of AVENDIS. He emphasizes that the company wants to expand its expertise, strengthen customer partnerships, and build a leading IT service platform in Germany.

Investor focuses on consolidation potential

Oliver Bevan, partner at Synova, points to the growth and consolidation opportunities in the German market. The company has earned a good reputation for providing IT solutions to a loyal customer base. Synova is regarded as a growth investor in Europe and supports portfolio companies in organic growth, international expansion, and targeted acquisitions.

According to the company, the new brand is intended to make its claim to be a modern, independent IT service platform visible both internally and externally. AVENDIS is relying on the “Made in Germany” quality promise as a competitive differentiator.
