Sentinel ist Microsofts Cloud-basierende Security Information und Event Management Plattform (SIEM). Dank der Integration können gemeinsame Kunden nun effizient auf Incident-Berichte und Ransomware-Warnungen zugreifen.
• Azure AD und Multi-Factor Authentication: Azure Active Directory ist die Standard-Identity-Plattform für Microsoft-Kunden auf der ganzen Welt. Cohesity integriert sich nahtlos in Azure AD und deren Multi-Faktor-Authentifizierung (MFA), damit gemeinsame Kunden den Zugriff auf Cohesity-Produkte einschließlich Cohesity Data Cloudund Cohesity Cloud Services sicher zentral verwalten können.
• Microsoft Purview über die Partnerschaft von Cohesity mit BigID: Gemeinsame Kunden können ihre Daten in Ihrer gesamten Microsoft-Umgebung mit Cohesity klassifizieren. Auf Grundlage dieser Datenintelligenz, die mit Technik von BigID erzeugt wird, können Kunden Aktionen für mehr Datenschutz und Governance durchsetzen.

• Cohesity Cloud Services sind jetzt auf Azure verfügbar und erlauben es Microsoft-Kunden, ihre Daten in hybriden Umgebungen einfach zu schützen und zu sichern

• Cohesity FortKnox, der populäre SaaS-Cyber-Vaulting-Service von Cohesity, baut eine weitere Schutzebene mit vorhersehbaren Daten-Recovery-Fristen auf. Live-Demos und Previews von Cohesity FortKnox auf Azure sind ab sofort verfügbar, die allgemeine Verfügbarkeit ist für die kommenden Monate geplant.
• Cohesity DataProtect delivered as a Serviceist ein benutzerfreundlicher BaaS (Backup as a Service) auf Enterprise-Niveau, der nun auch Microsoft 365 abdeckt. Mit dem BaaS von Cohesity, der bereits kritische SaaS-, Cloud-native und lokale Unternehmensdaten sichert, können Kunden nun Backups ihrer Microsoft 365-Daten auf einer auf Azure gehosteten Data Plane anlegen.

Beginn einer neuen Ära bei der Datenanalyse

Cohesity nutzt KI bereits ein, damit Kunden Anomalien und so Hinweise für einen Cyberangriff aufspüren können. Cohesity ist überzeugt, dass KI sich ideal eignet, große Datenmengen schnell zu analysieren. Dies würde IT- und Sicherheitsteams befähigen, noch schneller und viel genauer auf Vorfälle zu reagieren. Heute gab Cohesity nun seine KI-fähige Datenstruktur bekannt – kombiniert mit OpenAI wird sie wichtige KI-Initiativen um Threat- und Anomalie-Erkennung, Klassifizierung und mehr vorantreiben.

– Microsoft Sentinel: Cohesity’s DataProtect backup and recovery solution, both on-premises and Backup as a Service variants, now integrates with Microsoft Sentinel. Thanks to the integration, joint customers can now efficiently access incident reports and ransomware alerts.

o Cohesity FortKnox, Cohesity’s popular SaaS cyber vaulting service, builds another layer of protection with predictable data recovery deadlines. Live demos and previews of Cohesity FortKnox on Azure are available now, with general availability planned for the coming months.

o Cohesity DataProtect delivered as a Service is an easy-to-use enterprise-grade BaaS (Backup as a Service) that now covers Microsoft 365. Cohesity’s BaaS, which already backs up critical SaaS, cloud-native, and on-premises enterprise data, now allows customers to back up their Microsoft 365 data to a Data Plane hosted on Azure.

Beginning of a new era in data analytics

Cohesity is already leveraging AI to help customers detect anomalies and thus clues to a cyberattack. Cohesity believes AI is ideally suited to analyze large amounts of data quickly. This would enable IT and security teams to respond to incidents even faster and much more accurately. Today, Cohesity now announced its AI-enabled data fabric – combined with OpenAI, it will drive key AI initiatives around threat and anomaly detection, classification and more.
