Avaya hat das Insolvenzverfahren gemäß Chapter 11 US-Recht erfolgreich überstanden und will nun wieder aktiv werden.

Avaya has successfully survived Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings under U.S. law and now plans to resume operations.

Netzwerk-Anbieter Avaya hat die finanzielle Restrukturierung abgeschlossen. Das Unternehmen geht aus dem Insolvenzverfahren gemäß Chapter 11 US-Recht mit einer wachstumsorientierten Kapitalstruktur, einer Liquidität von etwa 650 Millionen US-Dollar und einem Nettoverschuldungsgrad von weniger als 1 hervor.

„Mit dieser Nachricht schlagen wir ein neues Kapitel auf und machen die Arbeit, die wir in die Umgestaltung unseres Unternehmens gesteckt haben, sichtbar“, erläutert Avayas CEO Alan Masarek. „Dabei setzen wir erhebliche finanzielle Mittel ein, um die Investitionen in unser Portfolio zu beschleunigen und konzentrieren uns darauf, Kunden mit innovativen Kommunikationslösungen auf ihrem individuellen Transformationspfad zu begleiten.

Wir verfolgen weiterhin die Strategie ‚Innovation without Disruption‘, um technische Fortentwicklung durch eine sanfte Migration zu ermöglichen und dabei Unterbrechungen des Geschäftsbetriebs zu vermeiden. Die neue, optimierte Produkt-Roadmap von Avaya wurde so gestaltet, dass sich die Kundenanforderungen in den Features unserer Lösungen wiederfinden.“

Die produktbezogenen Investitionen des Unternehmens fokussieren sich weiterhin auf die Avaya Experience Platform, die zur Verbesserung der Kundenerfahrungen über verschiedene Kommunikationskanäle beiträgt. Bereits mehr als 150 neue Funktionen und -verbesserungen hat Avaya seit Anfang 2023 in das Produktportfolio integriert. Mit der Avaya Enterprise Cloud bündelt Avaya die Software-Lösungen für Contact Center, einheitliche Kommunikation und Kollaboration.

Network provider Avaya has completed its financial restructuring. The company emerges from Chapter 11 U.S. bankruptcy proceedings with a growth-oriented capital structure, liquidity of approximately $650 million and a net debt-to-equity ratio of less than 1.

The company’s product-related investments continue to focus on the Avaya Experience Platform, which helps improve customer experiences across multiple communications channels. Already, Avaya has added more than 150 new features and enhancements to its product portfolio since the beginning of 2023. With Avaya Enterprise Cloud, Avaya brings together contact center, unified communications and collaboration software solutions.
