USU tritt FinOps Foundation bei – USU Joins FinOps Foundation

FinOps ist eine Managementpraxis, die die Bereiche Finanzen (Finance) und Entwicklungsbetrieb (DevOps) verbindet, um die finanzielle Leistung von Cloud-Infrastrukturen zu optimieren. Die zentrale Bedeutung von FinOps ergibt sich aus dem rasanten Wachstum und der zunehmenden Komplexität der Cloud-Dienste, was oft zu ineffizienter Ressourcennutzung und überhöhten Kosten führt.

USU verfügt mit breit etablierten Lösungen für IT Service Management inklusive Financial Management, dem USU-Software-Asset-Management-Portfolio sowie mit USU IT Monitoring über leistungsfähige Produkte und langjährige Expertise, um für Unternehmen die künftigen Herausforderungen rund um FinOps effektiv zu meistern. Bereits in 2023 wurde der neue Service USU Cloud Cost Management eingeführt, der Unternehmen einen präzisen Überblick über ihre Cloud-Ressourcen und -Nutzung bietet, Überkapazitäten zu vermeiden hilft und Echtzeitanalysen zur optimalen Ressourcenzuweisung erlaubt.

Vom 22. bis 23. Mai 2024 wird USU an der Cloud Expo Europe in Frankfurt teilnehmen, ebenso vom 19. bis 22. Juni 2024 an der FinOps X Konferenz in San Diego bzw. an der FinOps X Europe vom 11. bis 14. November in Barcelona. Diese Veranstaltungen bieten USU die ideale Plattform für den Austausch mit führenden FinOps-Experten und die Diskussion über die Zukunft der Cloud-Kostenoptimierung.

The new USU Cloud Cost Management service was launched in 2023, providing companies with a precise overview of their cloud resources and usage, helps avoid overcapacity, and allows for real-time analyses for optimal resource allocation.
