IONOS closed fiscal year 2025 with broad-based growth in revenue and operating profitability.
IONOS Group SE closed fiscal year 2025 with across-the-board growth. The cloud and web hosting provider expanded its customer base by approximately 310,000 to 6.63 million — nearly twice the gain recorded in the prior year (2024: +160,000). Revenue increased 5.5% to €1,316.9M. On a currency-neutral basis, growth came in at 6.1%. The operating result improved even more markedly: adjusted EBITDA climbed 18.5% to €485.2M, lifting the corresponding margin from 32.8% to 36.8%. Adjusted earnings per share rose from €1.02 to €1.53, supported by higher profitability and lower financing costs. Sharpening the Core: AdTech Unit Put Up for Sale In September, the management board decided to divest Sedo GmbH and with it the AdTech segment, focusing instead on the Web Presence & Productivity and Cloud Solutions divisions. The segment is reported as a discontinued operation under IFRS 5, and prior-year figures have been restated accordingly. AI Positioned as Key Growth Engine for SMBs Under the name IONOS Momentum, the company has launched an AI ecosystem designed to make AI-powered applications accessible to businesses of all sizes. CEO Achim Weiß views this — combined with the company’s European cloud infrastructure — as the central growth driver for the years ahead. 2026 Outlook: Continued Growth on the Agenda For the current fiscal year, IONOS expects currency-neutral revenue growth of approximately 7% — or around 8% excluding intercompany revenues. Growth is expected to be driven by new customer additions, up- and cross-selling to the existing base of more than 6.6 million customers, and expanded AI capabilities. Adjusted EBITDA is targeted at approximately €530M, with the corresponding margin forecast in the 37%–38% range.
