| Auf der Dell Technologies World zeigte sich Firmenchef Michael Dell betont kämpferisch. „Alles startet mit einer Idee. Die Kombination aus Technologie und Kreativität werden uns weit bringen. Die Zukunft ist Multi Cloud und unsere Idee von Multi Cloud ist, dass es keine Ansammlung von verschiedenen Applikationen oder Systeme sein soll, sondern ein Ganzes, das optimal zusammen arbeitet“. „KI wird das Leben so wie wir es kennen, gründlich verändern. Technologie hat den Fortschritt vorangetrieben. Wenn Sie noch nicht KI anwenden, sind Sie schon im Nachteil. In allen wichtigen Produkte, die wir anbieten, ist KI in irgendeine Art und Weise schon eingebaut. Für die gewaltigen Ansprüche, die KI an Daten stellt, braucht es neue Architekturen mit höherer Geschwindigkeit und Effizienz. Wir sind bereit dafür mit machtvollen Servern wie den neuen Power Edge XE9680 Server, der jetzt lieferbereit ist“. „Es gibt das Missverständnis, dass KI nur in ChatGPT enthalten ist“, sagte Dell und fügte hinzu, dass das Unternehmen Tausende von Projekten zur Anwendung von KI für Kunden durchführt. „Wir haben schon seit langem KI in unsere Systeme integriert. Das APEX Cloud Services Angebot wird stark ausgebaut. Neu sind unter anderem der APEX Cloud Service für Microsoft Azure sowie APEX Block Storage für Azure und APEX File Storage für Azure. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella sprach von einem echten Durchbruch.
Chuck Whitten, Co-COO von Dell, ergänzt: „KI verändert den Arbeitsablauf.
