Susanne Moosreiner tritt mit der Entschlossenheit an, den eingeschlagenen Weg fortzusetzen und auszubauen. Ihr Ziel ist es, das Wachstum kontinuierlich zu steigern und insbesondere die Weiterentwicklung des Kernprodukts, der Backup-Lösung SEP sesam“, voranzutreiben. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf der stetigen Weiterentwicklung der Cloud-Fähigkeit der Lösung sowie der Sicherheit, insbesondere im Hinblick auf den Schutz vor aktuellen Bedrohungen wie Ransomware. Darüber hinaus möchte sie gemeinsam mit ihrem starken und kompetenten Team aus Spezialisten die Kundenorientierung weiter stärken und SEP als führendes Unternehmen in Sachen Kundenzufriedenheit positionieren. Dies konnte SEP bereits durch mehrere Auszeichnungen unter Beweis stellen, unter anderem als führendes Unternehmen im Bereich Datensicherungslösungen in der PUR-S Studie des Analystenhauses techconsult.

Susanne Moosreiner verfügt über umfangreiche Managementerfahrung, die sie bei namhaften Unternehmen wie Vodafone und der BMW Group sammeln konnte, bevor sie 2002 zu SEP kam. Seit 2004 verantwortet sie bei SEP die Bereiche Finanzen, Personal und Marketing und ist Mitglied des Vorstands der SEP AG. In den letzten Jahren hat sie sich vor allem auf die Bereiche Finanzen und Personal konzentriert und ist neben Georg Moosreiner in die Rolle des Vorstandes hineingewachsen. Darüber hinaus ist sie mit über 20 Prozent an der SEP AG beteiligt.

Georg Moosreiner, der die SEP 1980 gründete und 1992 den Fokus auf die Entwicklung von Backup-Software legte, erhielt für seine Verdienste zahlreiche Auszeichnungen, unter anderem die Ehrenmedaille der IHK München im Jahr 2004 und das Verdienstkreuz 1. Klasse des Verdienstordens der Bundesrepublik Deutschland im Jahr 2010. Durch die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der SEP AG sowie vielfältige Technologiepartnerschaften mit Branchengrößen wie SUSE, Novell, SAP (Partner seit über 20 Jahren), Red Hat, IBM, HPE und anderen hat Georg Moosreiner den Erfolg der SEP AG maßgeblich geprägt.

Die Backup-Lösung SEP sesam wird „Made in Germany“ entwickelt und unterstützt eine Vielzahl von virtuellen Umgebungen, Betriebssystemen, Applikationen und Datenbanken – von der Entwicklung bis zum Support ohne Hintertüren. Die universelle Unterstützung komplexer Systemumgebungen hebt SEP sesam mit der aktuellen Version Apollon deutlich vom Wettbewerb ab.Für zusätzliche Sicherheit sorgen die Immutable-Lösungen, die die Backup-Daten selbst vor Ransomware unveränderbar schützen. Mit dem SEP Cloud Application Protection Service (CAPS) bietet SEP zudem eine DSGVO-konforme Cloud-to-Cloud Backup- und Data Loss Prevention-Lösung für Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Google Workspace und Dynamics 365.

Susanne Moosreiner joins the company with the determination to continue and expand the path taken. Her goal is to continuously increase growth and especially to push the development of the core product, the backup solution „SEP sesam“. The focus will be on continuous development of the solution’s cloud capability and security, especially with regard to protection against current threats such as ransomware.

In addition, together with her strong and competent team of specialists, she wants to further strengthen customer orientation and position SEP as a leading company in terms of customer satisfaction. SEP has already won several awards, including the PUR-S study by the analyst firm techconsult, which ranked SEP as the leading company for data protection solutions.

Before joining SEP in 2002, Susanne Moosreiner gained extensive management experience at well-known companies such as Vodafone and BMW Group. She has been responsible for finance, human resources and marketing at SEP since 2004 and is a member of the Executive Board of SEP AG. In recent years, she has focused on finance and human resources and has grown into the role of CEO alongside Georg Moosreiner. She also holds more than 20 percent of the shares in SEP AG.
