| ADN und Microsoft laden alle Partner zur CSP-Week Azure und Security. Die Online-Veranstaltung findet vom 20. bis 24. März 2023 auf der kostenfreien Trainings-Plattform Cloud Champion statt. An fünf Tagen vermitteln Experten in acht Sessions Wissen rund um die Möglichkeiten von Microsoft Azure sowie zu allen wichtigen Security-Bereichen – etwa, wie sich Microsoft Security-Features nutzen lassen, um dem Worst Case vorzubeugen. Gerade im Modern-Work-Bereich und rund um Microsoft 365 sind Veränderungen heute das einzig Beständige, und so müssen auch Unternehmen ihr Cloud-Wissen stets auf dem aktuellsten Stand halten. Das schließt vor allem den Bereich Security ein, um das eigene Unternehmen aber auch entsprechende Kunden in und außerhalb der Cloud zu schützen. Gelingen kann das mit den lehrreichen Sessions von ADN und Microsoft im Rahmen der ADN Microsoft CSP-Week. Inhaltliche Schwerpunkte sind die Themen Modern Workplace und Azure hinsichtlich Security und Compliance. Zudem erhalten die Teilnehmer Tipps und Tricks zur Erkennung und Beseitigung potenzieller Bedrohungen im Rechenzentrum und lernen den Microsoft Defender for Business im Detail kennen. Spannend geht es weiter von 16:00 bis 17:00 Uhr ganz im Zeichen der DSGVO und wie man in Azure und Microsoft 365 damit umgeht. Ein Experte für Datenschutz und Informationssicherheit zeigt typische praxisnahe Problemstellungen und deren Lösung auf, die der DSGVO ihren Schrecken nehmen. Mit dem Titel „Microsoft schafft das Passwort ab – wie PKI-Zertifikate und FIDO dabei helfen“ startet die nächste Session am Dienstag, den 21.03.2023. Sie beschäftigt sich von 10:00 bis 11:00 Uhr mit der Zukunft des Passworts. Lohnt es sich für Unternehmen, sich mit Themen wie Certificate-Based Authentication zu befassen? Die Teilnehmer lernen nützliche Tools kennen, die das Anmelden in der Microsoft-Umgebung erleichtern und über eine Multifaktorauthentifizierung hinaus zusätzlichen Schutz bieten. Von 15:00 bis 16:00 Uhr gibt es eine grundlegende Einführung in Microsoft Azure – etwa wie die ersten Schritte aussehen können oder wie man die Services beim Kunden implementiert. So können Partner eine Brücke schlagen zwischen Azure und Microsoft 365. Am Mittwoch, den 22.03.2023, wartet von 09:00 bis 12:00 Uhr ein besonderer Leckerbissen auf die Teilnehmer, bei dem sowohl das Format als auch der Inhalt sehr spannend sind: In einer dreistündigen Session zeigen die beiden ADN-Experten Andreas Neumann und David Joerg eine facettenreiche Palette, wie Microsoft Security in der Praxis aussieht: Wie setzt man Microsoft Security Features ein, um Tenants abzusichern? Wie lassen sich Consumption-Limits in Azure setzen? Wie lässt sich Sicherheit so umsetzen, dass man beruhigt schlafen kann?
Da Security ein spannendes, aber sehr komplexes Thema ist, verfolgt das Webinar einen spielerischen Ansatz. Multimedial aufbereitet erleben die Teilnehmer den Arbeitstag eines Systemadministrators, der neu in die Firma kommt und bestimmte Security-Aufgaben bewältigen muss.
Wie in einem aus Computerspielen bekannten Quest-System sind Aufträge zu erledigen wie: Kontrollen Sie im Portal die vergebenen Rechte, aktivieren Sie MFA, nutzen Sie den Security Score, sichern Sie Ihre Identitäten, um Hackern stets einen Schritt voraus zu sein – kurz: Hier wird viel Security-Wissen unterhaltsam und kurzweilig vermittelt.
Am Donnerstag, den 23.03.2023, gibt es zwei weitere interessante Sessions: Von 10:00 bis 11:00 Uhr geht es um Bedrohungslagen im Rechenzentrum und wie man damit umgeht – Stichwort Microsoft Defender for Server. Freitag | ADN and Microsoft invite all partners to CSP-Week Azure and Security. The online event will take place from March 20 to 24, 2023, on the free Cloud Champion training platform. Over the course of five days, experts will impart knowledge in eight sessions on all aspects of Microsoft Azure and all important security areas – for example, how Microsoft security features can be used to prevent the worst case scenario. Especially in the modern workspace and around Microsoft 365, changes are the only constant today, and so companies also need to keep their cloud knowledge up to date at all times. This includes, above all, the area of security, in order to protect one’s own company, but also the corresponding customers in and outside the cloud. This can be achieved with the instructive sessions from ADN and Microsoft as part of the ADN Microsoft CSP Week. The content focuses on the topics of Modern Workplace and Azure with regard to security and compliance. In addition to basic knowledge about Microsoft Azure – what do the first steps look like, what do you need to consider – the cloud experts will show what additional things need to be considered when it comes to security. They explain the advantages of a certificate-based logon in Azure AD over passwords and explain how to reconcile cloud services and the DSGVO – a perennial topic, and at the same time more important than ever. In addition, participants will receive tips and tricks for detecting and eliminating potential threats in the data center and learn about Microsoft Defender for Business in detail. From 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., the event will continue with an exciting discussion about the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO) and how to deal with it in Azure and Microsoft 365. An expert for data protection and information security will show typical practical problems and their solutions, which will take the fear out of the GDPR. Titled „Microsoft is doing away with the password – how PKI certificates and FIDO are helping“, the next session will start on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, and will deal with the future of the password from 10:00 to 11:00. Is it worthwhile for companies to look into topics such as Certificate-Based Authentication? Participants will learn about useful tools that make logging into the Microsoft environment easier and provide additional protection beyond multifactor authentication. From 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be a basic introduction to Microsoft Azure – such as how to get started or how to implement the services at a customer site. In this way, partners can build a bridge between Azure and Microsoft 365. On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, a special treat awaits attendees from 09:00 to 12:00, where both the format and the content are very exciting: In a three-hour session, ADN experts Andreas Neumann and David Joerg will show a multi-faceted range of what Microsoft Security looks like in practice: How do you use Microsoft Security features to secure tenants? How can consumption limits be set in Azure? How can security be implemented in such a way that one can sleep peacefully? Since security is an exciting but very complex topic, the webinar takes a playful approach. Using multimedia, participants experience the working day of a system administrator who is new to the company and has to master certain security tasks. Tasks similar to a quest system known from computer games have to be completed such as: Check the assigned rights in the portal, activate MFA, use the security score, secure your identities to stay one step ahead of hackers – in short: A lot of security knowledge is imparted here in an entertaining and entertaining way.
