Hier setzt die neue Kooperation zwischen dem indischen IT-Dienstleister Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) und dem US-Chip-Hersteller AMD an.
Die beiden Technologieunternehmen wollen gemeinsam branchenspezifische KI- und GenAI-Lösungen entwickeln. Dabei kombinieren sie das Beratungs- und Integrationswissen von TCS mit dem Hardware-Portfolio von AMD im Bereich Hochleistungsprozessoren und KI-Beschleuniger. The challenge is well known: many companies are experimenting with artificial intelligence, but fail to make the transition from testing to widespread application. This is where the new cooperation between Indian IT service provider Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and US chip manufacturer AMD comes in.
The two technology companies want to jointly develop industry-specific AI and GenAI solutions. They are combining TCS’s consulting and integration expertise with AMD’s hardware portfolio in the area of high-performance processors and AI accelerators. The partnership focuses on three areas: the modernization of hybrid cloud and edge environments, AI-powered workplace solutions, and the acceleration of cloud-to-edge workloads. A key component is the qualification of personnel. TCS will provide targeted training and certification for employees in AMD technologies. Both companies plan to build a team of experts for AI solutions. At the same time, industry-specific GenAI frameworks will be developed – for example, for drug development in life sciences, for quality control and intelligent manufacturing in industry, and for risk management in the financial sector.
